Now that international offline events are out of the question for a while for certain reasons, the best solution for helping people to network and have discussions on hot topics of the industry is arranging webinars. We are working on a series of Webinars and one of those is about “The Impact of COVID-19 on the Italian Solar Sector" that will be held on June 19.

Italy is one of the most important markets for the Solar industry. The 7% fall in electric demand negatively affected the solar industry in Italy. The webinar aims to discuss the impacts of COVID-19 on the Italian solar market and the challenges. The following topics will be highlighted during the webinar:

• Plan of actions to minimize and control the pandemic effect.
• Negative influences of global supply chain disruption. The possible shortage of solar panels, modules, and inverters.
• Financial practices during a pandemic. Availability of new financial tools/loans under the crisis-related measures and moratorium on loan repayments.
